U-fresh Allows Convenience Store to become Home Refrigerator

With the arrival of the new agricultural era, Taiwanese agriculture must surmount the conventional production and marketing model in order to expand the scale through combining with networks as well as electronic business platforms to exploit new business opportunities. In order to establish a friendly consumption model from the “production place” (small farmers) to the “dining table” (consumers), U-fresh is promoted and constructed by the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs to integrate cross-temperature level cold chain logistics, so as to provide direct delivery services to the consumers.

With the assistance of the program, U-fresh integrated logistics, cash flow and data flow and it collaborates with FamilyMart convenience store to effectively utilize store refrigerated storage spaces to reduce logistics costs, directly solving the issues of overpriced freight and inconvenience for consumers in claiming goods.

Collaborative partners of U-fresh come from all fields, and combined over 3,000 FamilyMart convenience stores in Taiwan, U-fresh makes the dream of “convenience store’s refrigerator is my home refrigerator” no longer just a dream. Consumers do not need to change their consumption model and will not be restricted by waiting for the delivery time. All they need to do is to place the order easily online and pick-up the goods at the closest convenience store, a simple and convenient shopping process.

U-fresh is currently online, and may be purchased using the GoHappy website. In the future, it will collaborate with more electronic business platforms to provide consumers with more convenient services. The goal of U-fresh is to “allow consumers and producers to obtain maximized bene t”, allowing the production place to have deserved pro t, and consumers to eat healthy and concernfree food. Let’s all eat the locally, eat without concerns and eat conveniently!
