在多益普及測驗中，餐廳簡介通常會以整體的簡介資訊（短文）或是簡單的菜單（表格）呈現。不管是短文或表格，這類應用性的文體，在國中會考或類似測驗中都很常見，值得學習者投入心思好好學習。而最佳學習方式，就是找家有英文菜單和英語服務人員的餐廳，直接親身體驗一次。
